Greenleaf Hotel Gensan send educational support to elementary students of DAAN SUYAN INTEGRATED SCHOOL

Nine kilometres from the highway of barangay Lun Padidu in the Municipality of Malapatan, Sarangani Province lies Daan Suyan Integrated School, a home of 585 elementary pupils and 475 high school students. Ninety nine percent of the learners are indigenous people and all of them are poor.

Being a catch basin of 32 neighbouring villages, learners from far flung areas suffer from a long walk. Others have to cross rivers, five at most. Most of the students start to walk before sunrise to avoid getting late. They bring extra clothing and a plastic bag with them to keep their things from getting soaked in the water.

In line with this, Greenleaf Hotel Gensan together with Sarangani’s Office of The Governor extends its shoulders to Daan Suyan Integrated School by providing educational materials to poor yet deserving public schools in the province.
